The 15 Fastest Aston Martin Cars Ever...>>>

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

15. V8 Vantage

Kicking off the list is the V8 Vantage. Now, there have been a few generations of this vehicle, and this particular entry is reserved for the current iteration. The comes with variety in trim levels, including the Roadster convertible edition in addition to the coupe. Both models have the exact same performance stats, highlighted by a top speed of 180 miles per hour, along with acceleration speeds of 4.9 seconds from rest to 60. The V8 Vantage uses exactly as you would suspect — a 4.7-liter V8 engine — to produce 420 horsepower at its peak.
The Aston Martin Rapide car is presented

14. Rapide

The Rapide, which the guys from Top Gear have called “arguably Aston Martin’s best car,” is a slightly faster alternative to the V8 Vantage. The Rapide is a four-door vehicle that is equipped with a 5.9-liter V12 engine, which kicks out 470 horsepower. With an engine of that size, you’d might expect the Rapide really blow past the rest of the Aston Martin lineup, but it tops out at 183 miles per hour. It can also race from zero to 60 in 5 seconds, with its relative girth slowing it down just a bit.
Aston Martin DB9

13. DB9

One Aston Martin model that has a slight edge in quickness over the Rapide is the DB9. The DB9, like the V8 Vantage, comes in a variety of trim levels, all with the same specifications. The company offers the standard coupe variant, the Volante, and a special Carbon Edition. All three top out at 183 miles per hour, but can race to 60 in 4.6 seconds. Recent improvements have made the car lighter and more aerodynamic, and helping boost performance is a V12 engine that makes 510 horsepower.
Aston Martin Vanquish

12. Vanquish

The Vanquish is another model that reaches the apex of its speed at 183 miles per hour. It does have the edge over the DB9 and Rapide, however, due to its 4.1 second 0-60 time. The Vanquish also comes with trim options, as the Volante variant offers Aston Martin fans an additional choice. Once again, both cars have the same specifications, only the appearance changes. The Vanquish has become Aston Martin’s flagship car, and it didn’t skimp out on any of the details. A 6.0-liter, 565 horsepower V12 provides the finishing touches under the hood.
Aston Martin DB7 Vantage

11. DB7 Vantage

Unveiled in 1999 at the Geneva Auto Show, the DB7 Vantage is a 185-mile per hour stallion. This car boasted a 6.0-liter V12 engine, creating 420 horsepower with a choice of manual or automatic transmission. The DB7 Vantage came in two different trims, the Saloon and the Volante, but the latter can only hit a top speed of 165 miles per hour. From a standstill, the DB7 Vantage can reach 60 miles per hour in 5 seconds. There were special editions made in 2002, dubbed the DB7 Vantage Jubilee to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Only 24 of the Jubilee models were built, 19 of them for UK customers, and 5 for other European buyers.

10. V8 Vantage (1993)

The older generation of the V8 Vantage, which first hit the market in 1993, cracks the top ten of Aston Martin’s all time fastest cars. This V8 Vantage model could reach 186 miles per hour, and reach 60 miles per hour from zero in 4.6 seconds. Under the hood, a 5.4-liter Twin-OHC supercharged V8 engine blasted out 550 horsepower, and when coupled with the car’s 6-speed ZF manual transmission, offered one hell of a driving experience. It’s not often that older models can outshine its contemporary versions, but the V8 Vantage does just that.
Aston Martin Virage

9. Virage

A 6.0-liter V12 engine supplies the Virage with 490 horsepower, which is more than enough to take the Aston to a top speed of 186 miles per hour, and from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. The Virage saw two separate runs of production, from 1989-2000, and then later during 2011 and 2012. In total, a handful more than 1000 vehicles were actually built and put on the market. The newer version provided quite an improvement over the old, as the first generation’s speed topped out at 155 miles per hour.
Aston Martin Rapide S

8. Rapide S

The Rapide S is a suped-up version of the Rapide, and improves quite a bit on the vehicle’s performance. Top speed has been improved to reach 190 miles per hour, and the 0-60 time reduced slightly to 4.9 seconds. 550 horsepower growls out from under the Rapide S’s hood, in which it utilizes a 5.9-liter V12 engine. Engineers took care in improving upon the original Rapide to make the S iteration, but came away with this motto: more power, more beauty, same soul.
Aston Martin DB7 Zagato

7. DB7 Zagato

One of Aston Martin’s more exclusive models, the DB7 Zagato was unleashed in 2003 with a strict limit of 99 models, none of which were ever available in North America. The car itself is the result of some cross-pollination between Aston Martin and Zagato, the Italian coachmaker, and is not the only model the two worked on together. The DB7 Zagato was an incredibly impressive car, reaching terminal speeds at 190 miles per hour, and accelerating from zero to 60 in 4.9 seconds. Like other models, it used a 5.9-liter V12 engine, and spat out 435 horsepower.

6. V8 Vantage S

Another member of the the V8 Vantage club, the V8 Vantage S is able to hit a top speed of 190 miles per hour, but beat out the DB7 Zagato in the quickness category. The Vantage S is an improvement over the standard V8 Vantage, in aesthetics as well as performance. Like the traditional variant, the Vantage S comes in two different iterations, the standard coupe and the Roadster, both of which have identical specs. The Vantage S can not only jet to 190 miles per hour, but also go from 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Not surprisingly, the Vantage S uses the same V8 engine as the original Vantage, although it’s been re-tuned to provide slightly more horsepower and torque.
Aston Martin Vantage N430

5. Vantage N430

Perhaps the pinnacle of the Vantage lineup, the Vantage N430 brings the DNA of a luxury car and blends it with the spirit of a race car. The N430 is lighter and more nimble than the V8 Vantage and its variants, giving it an edge in handling and precision. A 4.7-liter V8 engine makes the N430 capable of hitting speeds of up to 190 miles per hour, and rushing from rest to 60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds.
Aston Martin DBS

4. DBS

The Aston Martin DBS is not only fast, but comes with a few selection of trims, making it a favorite of car buffs. The DBS comes in variants that include the Volante, Carbon Black, and, you guessed it, Volante Carbon Black. Specifications are the same across the trim levels, including a top speed of 190 miles per hour and 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds. Further, 510 horsepower pours out from under the hood, courtesy of a 5.9-liter V12 engine, much like many other Aston Martin models. The car is restricted to a top speed of 183 miles per hour, but with the limiter removed, 190 mph is achievable.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato

3. V12 Zagato

Another crossover model from Italian coachmaker Zagato, the V12 Zagato was released to mark the 50th anniversary of the DB4 GT Zagato unveiling. Based on the V12 Vantage, the V12 Zagato can reach a top speed of 190 miles per hour, and rocket to 60 miles per hour in 4.2 seconds. An extremely limited run of 150 models were built and released in 2011, making this one of the rarest Aston Martin models out there. The V12 Zagato uses a 5.9-liter V12 engine, like many other Aston Martin vehicles, that produces 510 ponies.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S

2. V12 Vantage S

Aston Martin has really raised the bar recently with the release of the V12 Vantage S. This car is capable of reaching a terminal speed of 205 miles per hour, thanks to the signature Aston Martin 5.9-liter V12 engine. However, this time engineers stepped up their game, fine-tuning the engine to release 565 horsepower. Quickness has also been drastically increased to 3.9 seconds for the 0-60 time. The V12 Vantage S is quickly gaining notoriety as Aston Martin’s fastest vehicle ever, but it still has one model left to live up to.

1. One-77

The fastest Aston Martin model ever created is the One-77, an extremely limited supercar that can hit speeds in excess of 220 miles per hour. Aptly named, the One-77 was limited to a production run of 77 units, one of which actually ended up a part of the Dubai Police Department’s fleet, oddly enough. The One-77 has no trouble with acceleration from 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds on its way to 220 at top speed; horsepower tallies up to 750. If you’re lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one, you’d better take a picture as it be out of sight before you know it.
