This stadium is the main court of the US Open and also a part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center located within Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. This stadium is named after Arthur Ashe, the famous tennis player who won the inaugural US Open. Arthur Ashe stadium replaced Louis Armstrong Stadium as the primary venue for the US Open in 1997.
