<<<<....The 10 Coolest Lamborghinis of All Time....>>>>
Lamborghini might be Ferrari's chief competitor, and the cars might be clearly benchmarked against one another, but the two companies's attitudes could not be more different. Ferrari is pretentious, whereas Lamborghini always seems to do everything with a tongue in cheek demeanor; Ferrari's cars are designed to look sporting and elegant, Lamborghini's cars are designed to look wild; and while Ferrari seems to be mostly concerned with preserving its image, Lamborghini seems to be mostly concerned with creating insane and jaw dropping cars. We can't help but find Lamborghini to just be a little more charming because of it.
10. Espada
Year: 1968-1978
Engine: 3.9L V12
Power: 325 Horsepower
Number Made: 1,226

The Espada was designed to fill the void in Lamborghini's line up of a true four seater. While the Miura had already taken the world by storm, this elegant, powerful, and comfortable grand tourer was in keeping with Ferruccio Lamborghini's vision and desires. To this date, Lamborghini has yet to follow this beauty up with another proper 2+2.
9. Jalpa
Year: 1981-1988
Engine: 3.5L V8
Power: 255 Horsepower
Number Made: 410
Price: $58,000
Name Translation: A bloodline of fighting bulls.

The Jalpa took the Urraco and Silouette's basic architecture and refined it to the point where, despite the fact that the industry was still coping with new emissions regulations, it was still seriously fast and sporty. Given how expensive the V10 "baby Lambos" have gotten these days, we wish Lamborghini would produce a proper successor to the more affordable, V8 Jalpa...although one could argue that that's precisely what the Audi R8 is.
8. Urraco
Year: 1973-1979
Engine: 1.9L, 2.4L, or 2.9L V8
Power: 180, 217, or 247 Horsepower
Number Made: 791
Price: $22,500
Name Translation: A breed of fighting bulls.

Name Translation: A breed of fighting bulls.
The Bertone-bodied Urraco was Lamborghini's foray in to the world of V8-powered cars. Prior to this, the company had only ever offered a V12. While it did suffer from the reduced horsepower inherent in a car of the '70s, it was still a stunning and sporty vehicle that took the fight to the Ferrari Dino and the Maserati Merak.
We do also love the fact that Lamborghini managed to fit both an engine and two (vestigial) seats behind the driver, as well.
7. Reventon
Year: 2008
Engine: 6.5L V12
Power: 650 Horsepower
Number Made: 21
Price: $2,000,000
Name Translation: The bull that killed famed bullfighter FĂ©lix GuzmĂĄn.

Number Made: 21
Price: $2,000,000

The Lamborghini Reventon was unveiled to an amazed world, sold out, and whisked away to the annals of history in what now feels like the blink of an eye, but absolutely nobody has forgotten this incredible vehicle. It took the aircraft-inspired theme to new heights, using an absolutely incredible digital instrument cluster and styling the previewed the Aventador.
6. Gallardo
Year: 2003-2013
Engine: 5.0L-5.2L V10
Power: 493-562 Horsepower
Number Made: 13,059
Price: $175,000
Name Translation: A famed breed of fighting bulls.
Engine: 5.0L-5.2L V10
Power: 493-562 Horsepower
Number Made: 13,059
Price: $175,000
Name Translation: A famed breed of fighting bulls.
It seems now that the Gallardo has been with us forever, which is impressive, as it is still a competitive supercar, it doesn't look dated, and it is still the favorite of many. Without the "baby Lambo," the company probably would have declared bankruptcy some time ago, so we are immensely thankful for its existence.
5. Sesto Elemento
Year: 2010
Engine: 5.2L V10
Power: 570 Horsepower
Number Made: 20
Price: $2.2 Million
Name Translation: "Sixth Element" referring to the sixth element on the periodic table, carbon.

Lamborghini is defined by extremism, so when the company decided to see what could be done with carbon fiber for the purposes of weight reduction, the 2,200 pound Sesto Elemento was born. Pretty much every part of the car was made from the expensive material, and as a result the car's V10 could launch it to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
4. Diablo
Year: 1990-2001
Engine: 5.7L or 6.0L V12
Power: 492-595 Horsepower
Number Made: 2,884
Price: $239,000
Name Translation: "Devil," the name of a famed bull that fought in 1869.

Number Made: 2,884

The Lamborghini Diablo was the poster car for anybody who is in their '20s right now, which, if our demographics research is correct, is most of you. The Diablo was the last unbridled V12 Lambo, snarling in fury while punishing its driver for daring to think it could tame the beast. While Ferruccio wouldn't have approved of this insanity, we sure did; it will always be a legend.
3. Countach
Year: 1974-1990
Engine: 4.0L-5.2L V12
Power: 375-748 Horsepower
Number Made: 2,042
Price: $100,000
Name Translation: An Italian exclaimation used upon seeing a beautiful woman.

Number Made: 2,042
Price: $100,000

In our eyes, while the Miura may have set in motion the mid-engined renaissance in sports cars and permenatly changed Lamborghini's direction, the Countach is the heart of Lamborghini's currentraison d'ĂȘtre. This is the car that made unrepentantly angular, F-117-inspired design the heart of the company, and we're happy to say that crazy stealth bomber cars are still pouring out of Saint'Agata.
2. Veneno
Year: 2013
Engine: 6.5L V12
Power: 740 Horsepower
Number Made: 3
Price: $4.6 Million
Name Translation: "Venom" after a famous fighting bull.

The Lamborghini Veneno seems to have ushered in a new era in Lambo's design and ethos; one of unrestricted insanity and creativity that is unfettered by industry trends or conventions. We think this, and the Egoisa concept, are the medicine for the increasing homogeneity of automotive design.
1. Miura
Year: 1966-1972
Engine: 3.9L V12
Power: 350 Horsepower
Number Made: 764
Price: $20,000
Name Translation: It's a famed bloodline of fighting bulls and the Miura ranch inspired the Lamborghini badge.

Power: 350 Horsepower
Number Made: 764
Price: $20,000
Name Translation: It's a famed bloodline of fighting bulls and the Miura ranch inspired the Lamborghini badge.
The Miura is the archetype of today's supercar. It popularized the mid-engined layout for road cars, and thus changed the world for ever. Previously, mid-engined layout were purely the domain of race cars.
Ferruccio Lamborghini didn't actually like the car, as he wanted to make more big, front-engined grand tourers, but thought it would be useful as a marketing tool. The race-bred ethos of the Miura ended up not just taking over his company, but also working its way into most of his competitors'.
